Hijack

Regulars know it and new members will learn it the hard way very soon. Hijacking a thread is no crime here. Au contraire, it is considered a highly regarded social skill, nee, an art form. Please don’t consider it an act of disrespect when your thread gets hijacked by one of the forum clowns (not by me, I’m an exception. Too much of a gentleman ). It is just the TRF way. But most, if not all questions are answered.

I urge you all to NOT hijack this thread!

Forget it, Frans. Already a done deal.

But...you are correct about this forum having the cream of the crop of hijackers (including you, mon ami)!

Indeed, Frans. Sounds fantastic. I will not be able to get to your country until after 2008 (I have visits planned for the UK in July of this year, and another in the summer of 2008), but I will give it my best shot.

Do you have any plans to visit the US? That would be great, my friend!

Excuse me, but has this thread been hijacked yet? I've been studying it very carefully, but can't seem to find the hijack.

LOL - Frans cleverly set it up so that unless you started talking about something like the Darling Buds of May, you were not really hijacking it (technically).

So... when Charley married Mariette, did that somehow bring legitimacy to the Larkin family?

How can you hijack a thread that's about hijacking? Is this an oxymoron?

Ah, I see. Every post on this thread is another hijack. Clever, Dutchie, very clever. But shtooopid.

Clever indeed, Ed. It takes a master hijacker to even come up with something as diabolical as that, with a little assistance from some fine wine and whatever. My hat's off to Frans!

Why don't you keep this thread running as long as possible. It might give us some relief on the watch topics.
