Sub lv 16610 or two -tone sub 16613
Can't not decide whicjh one I should add to my collection, a mint 16610LV or a used D or F serial two tone sub. They are both around the same price appro. $6000. Currently I own a Gmt ll C and a two tone date just. I think the 16610LV has better resale if I want to sell it in the future. Which one should I buy?

Good question. I own both. Both are nice in their own ways. Both are easy to read. Maybe the LV would be the way to go. I really think it's going to be a winner as far as re-sale.

I would probably go with the 16610 LV, because of the green bezel, and maxi dial! Also its a bit rarer.

I noticed some of the Sub came with a litle anchor with the watch, do all the LV come with it?

I would go for the LV, you can always find a 2tone down the road but LVs are getting harder to get... and as you said resell it better on the LV.
After all the LV is one under priced watch IMO

I personally don't think the Sub should be made in anything other than SS. Its a dive watch. Im peculiar like that I guess so I would go with the LV.

I have them both also and would hate to have to choose between them. If this helps, I would probably go with the mint LV if the price was right. You can always find an older blue Sub, but maybe not a mint LV.

Both are great watches. I also own both. I think you should go with the one that speaks to you. Also consider your current collection. You are missing a Sub but already have a TT watch so I agree with the previous posters that the LV is the way to go.

Best to wear both of them and choose which one sings the louder the tune.
However, in my case, I have the 16610 and used to have the 16800, nonetheless, between your choices, I would with the TT. Good luck

LV will only increase in value IMO. They are getting more rare on the pre owned market each passing day. There are plenty of TTs to be had and always will be since they have been in production since 1989. My advice is to get an LV with all papers and enjoy the ride!

My only rolex is a LV, and she is really eye-catching: the green is quite dark, but the contrast "white markers - black shiny dial - mat green" is really astonishing. Good luck, they become rare in the sale section! (be carefull to buy a non polished model, those chamfers are delicious)
I love the tt blue sub too... But i think that a 2 colors watch is more refined than a 3 colors one.

LV for sure the watch already is highly collectible and the maxi dial really makes the difference

I think you guys are right, I can always get a two tone sub in the future, it will be more in the market than the LV. Thanks

If you are buying it for re-sale value alone, invest your money in something else! That being said, I love my subLV! The is completely subjective, but I feel like the 2-tone is meant for older people. The LV is more youthful and fresh, IMO. Plus you don't see as many in the wild!
