Icon20 AD's in Los Angeles?

Hello TRF!
I'll be travelling to California for my first time. Just wondering if there are any great Rolex dealers in the Los Angeles dealer? Thanks!

Geary's on Beverly Dr. & their Rolex shop on Rodeo Dr. (Beverly Hills, Ca.) are nice shops, staff is pleasant & professional.
In Orange County, the Rolex shop in the South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa, Ca.)

I prefer Fredrick Rubel in Orange County. They are at the shops at Mission Viejo and I have purchased every Rolex I own from them. Not Los Angeles, but worth the drive if you are heading south.

There is also a Rolex store run by Geary's in Century City Shopping Mall.

If you are really looking to buy, avoid the AD's in the big touristy places - Beverly Hills, Newport, South Coast, etc. - as they will offer almost no discounts. Try the "Mom and Pop" AD's for the best deals. Bhindi in Artesia has a great selection and you can really negotiate there.

If you just want to try on A LOT of different models, the best place to go, hands down, is the official Rolex store in South Coast Plaza. They literally have every model Rolex makes (except the blinged out GMT-II and, funny enough the SS Daytona) but everything else right there in the counters. The service is great too; if you come in wearing a Rolex they'll offer to clean it up, even if you don't buy anything. The service manager wears a white doctors coat! They only take 5% off retail, so like I said, if you want to buy look elsewhere.

I was in LA recently and I found that only the AD on Rodeo Drive had a decent selection, the rest don't bother unless you're after a DJ

In LA you always have to travel to go or see anything. Nothing is convenient.

Exactly.........go to the Rolex stores either in Century City or Orange County to view literally everything. In terms of actually buying a new Rolex, no one discounts more than Bhindi in Artesia. they have an amazing collection as well.

Good luck!!!

How silly...........there are tons of ADs with fantastic selection. Imagine someone from out of the country, visiting a city the size (area) of Los Angeles and presuming to comment on all the ADs, as if he's visited them all Los Angeles, area wise, is almost as big as all of England.

Alright! Thanks guys, I think I'll visit Geary's on Rodeo Drive. I'm not buying so, whatever the selection is I'm fine with. Just looking!

Surprisingly, you can negotiate pricing with the one at Century City, they gave my father in law a nice dicount on a Datejust II there. I believe it is owned by Geary's.

Gearys in Century City will definitely deal more then Rodeo Drive and South Coast Plaza and they have a great selection.

Philippes Watches in Beverly Hills has a great selection of vintage Subs (at least 15) including a mint bubble Sea Dweller and several root beer GMTs.

Please do not take this the wrong way - just a piece of friendly advise. If you are going to Rolex ADs with the intent to try on watches, do not wear your Invicta.

Hahah! Why not? I've worn my Invicta to 3 dealers and I tried on a 16613, 116710 and a SS DJ. The AD's were fine with it, one even commented on it.

Haha! The guy picked it up when I looked at the 16613 TT. And said great looking watch! He says do you plan on getting a 16610 later in life? I said yes for sure. He said "Great watch to remind you of getting the 16610".

Pop into the Rolex store in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and ask for Mehrdad or Leila and you'll be treated well, even in your Invicta!

I'll look that up tomorrow! Honestly the AD's don't care if I wear my Invicta. It's not like they're going to throw me out because I'm wearing a homage.

Not buying one unfortunately. I would love to try on a 16610 or 116610LN.

Ask for Michael or Frank.

Tell them Mike, Murat's brother, sent you.

My brother and I have bought several watches from them and this father and son team is known in the jewerly district in downtown LA.

Does Bhindi carry pre-owned Rolexes?
