David, each of those vintage Omegas is a beauty. What treasure!
I only have one vintage Omega, an Omega 1953 "bumper", but it is not a sport model. Cheers, Bill P. |

Vintage Seamaster
Here is a Seamaster that my dad gave me. From the late 60's or early 70's?

vintage Omega sport

my first Omega. I paid $175 for it in 1974. I'm told the Seamaster 60 isn't common. |

Doesn't look very sporty but it says Seamaster on it! Currently in for service as it isn't working properly. I've also asked for the scratches on the crystal to be buffed out.

Love those Speedmasters. I only have a Seamaster Pro Chrono (2531, 1999) but it's my favorite watch. I also have a Sub, and I've had a Breitling Aerospace, but the Omega is my go-to. It just has a silky, smooth, no-snag exterior, the best visibility, the best illumination short of Tritium, the slightly-domed crystal, the Rhodium plating, smooth crown/stem operation. Plus, only discerning strangers will make a comment on it, and nobody ever asks if it's real.

Love that 1st picture - mark 4.5 ???
Any chance if you get a chance could take some pictures looking down your wrist ? Wouldn't mind seeing how high the watch sits. Been tempted for a long time for a watch like that (with english date wheel) |

No problem col, but it'll take a week or two, the watch is in the safe at work and I'm on holiday
I can tell you though it's a pretty significant chunk of metal, sitting quit high on the wrist. |
