Daytona Bezel Service Question

Can anyone tell me what it costs to get a SS F series Daytona serviced by Rolex? Also, if the bezel has minor dings(not deep gashes but more than superficial) near engraved numbers on the bezel, does Rolex charge extra to just replace the whole thing, or can they fully restore it usually? I'm thinking of purchasing a pre-owned that needs a service. Thanks for the input, in advance...

A kind member just emailed me his Rolex service pricing for his Daytona, and gave me a good ballpark range to expect. Thanks...

Daytona bezel

Just had my SS Daytona serviced. Service was $750. It needed a new bezel, deep an I mean deep scratch. No way they could polish it out. New bezel was $360 (gulp)! Hope this helps. BTW, went in three years ago to see if RSC would just change the bezel, they would not. Service required.

My Bezel got a scratch less than a year after purchase.

RSC Sao Paulo polished the scratch free of charge. Great Service.

It is your choice on what gets done. When mine was in for service at RSC Dallas, they polished the bezel as best they could, but did not re-enamel the tachymeter markings. As I recall, the cost for service (including new minute/hour hands) was $855. My personal preference would be for a brushed bezel like the Ex II, but you won't get that from Rolex.
