I am about to wire him the money for my watch but I am a bit nervous. Have any of you heard of ordered from him before? Do you guys have any reservations before wiring someone money?

He is a member of TZ with over 1500 posts. I have no idea how to check references on that site. Wish it was through this forum which is by far superior!

Well there is a Dale Arnold member here, although he has not logged on since Oct of last year!!

I can't comment on his TZ activities...Maybe someone else here knows him?!?

Also, is it worth paying the fee to go through PayPal to be on the safe side?

Here's the thing!

I don't know him from a bar of soap....and it appears you don't either other than his TZ reference.
I only know that here, he has no history at all. Based on that, unless someone with high credentials here can back him up with the all clear, I wouldn't send a dime to him in any way shape or form! (That's just me)

Paypal will give you some recourse should anything happen, but is it worth the anguish to go through this?!?!
Always buy the seller first, watch second...Unless you get a good reply here with this thread, stay away is my advice! Or ask around TZ...

There are some stellar sellers here..Do some research here, you may find a better price!

So after I already confirmed with him and we were discussing how I should send him the money I got this email...

"Sorry but sub sold as your emails went back and forth"

I would reply to his emails in less than 5 minutes so there was no waiting for me or whatever. Is this a shitty move on his part or do I have a legit reason to be pissed?

Anyways, I was super excited to get my first Rolex but now I am very upset.

A little rude on his part from your side of the story, but I'm sure you'll find something newer and more exciting in the future!
