Any good places to go watch shopping in Paris?
I'm about to go to paris for 6 days next week. I'm itching for something new i am having a dealer of mine find out if he can get me a JLC Squadra Hometime in Black on rubber strap. I don't mind seeing what i could get from Paris if it's worthwhile. Any suggestions on where to go and what to expect discount wise etc. I know a grey market dealer in another country they import all their watches from one dealer in Paris i can't remember the name. And the prices that they sell the watches for are incredible.

I'll be in Paris also next month and will be looking for a good AD with discounts.
Not sure what the prices are like in Europe compared to Canada & the U.S. |

Well i found out that the dealer where most of the grey market dealers in my country get their watches from is Les Montres. I checked them out they have absolutely everything pretty much. Just don't know how it would go trying to negotiate deals with them.

We tend to visit Paris every year and the two areas I can recommend is the busy strip past the Champs Elysses (Rolex and Omega Boutique) but more usefully the plush retail area between the Ritz and the Opera. There are several high end watch boutiques inc JLC boutique in the "Ritz square" alone.
From (bad) memory those highlighted in red are watch stores and the point A is the JLC boutique. As for prices, too expensive for me due to £/Euro exchange rates. Omega and Rolex past the C.E. Capture1.JPG Oodles of high end watch stores inc boutiques (scratched in red from memory). Capture.JPG

I take it that the UK is best place to buy if paying sterling?

My friends from their experience tell me that France is an expensive country. I am not sure if that applies to buying a Rolex or other wathes.
