My first rolex: GMT 16710
I'm proud to present my first rolex (and definitely not my last ). The GMT 16710. Ths watch spoke to me from the moment I first saw it on the internet. I only saw it once in real life but I just knew this was the watch for me.
I'm off to the AD for the pepsi and black insert, but off course, here are some pictures: Tom Last edited by padi56; 10 October 2011 at 01:43 AM.. |

It does seem to be a pretty popular choice lately.
Congrats.

When I asked the saleslady at the store to buy the pepsi insert she looked at me like 'what in the world are you talking about'.
She directed me to the rolex 'specialist' (who had been to a 4 day course at rolex), so I asked him and he said it was "imposible to buy the red/blue insert". I said I was absolutely sure it is possible, so he went upstairs to their watch maker to ask if it can be done. He came back with my GMT with the pepsi bezel installed (even tough I only asked to buy it, not to have it installed). I asked for the black insert and they said they would have to order it and that it would take 3-5 weeks. Belgium = stupid AD's! |
