Superocean Heritage 42 - My first Breitling

Just received a SOH 42, black bezel and dial on a pro diver strap. I love the classic look, it wears and feels great. While I love Rolex, I am finding my Omega, IWC and now Breitling don't bring undue attention to clients.

Will post a picture soon. I tried on both the 46 and 38. This size is perfect.

New to Breitling and would love know more about the calibre 17 or what Breitling fans think about the SOH 42.

cheers

Nice one. I have a SOH 46 and though it didn't really wear that big.
I think the new 42mm size is probably a winner for Breitling.

Look forward to seeing your pix

nice! pix please.

didn't realize they had come out with 42. the perfect size and a no-brainer for breitling, as i thought the 46 was too big and the 38 too small.

I'll get some better ones this weekend. The HTC phone was the best I had last night. On the wrist now. Only bad thing now is I'm without a Rolex. If you know of any good deals on a 14060, please send them my way.

Very nice. Is the 42mm version new this year? I've only seen the 38 and 46.

Very nice. I would love to see the green bezel version...would match well with my LV.

Big congrats on beautiful watch!
I agree that 42mm is perfect size, it looks really good!
And about Caliber 17, that`s ETA 2824-2, COSC certified and signed by Breitling, very reliable workhorse movement that will last you a lifetime!

Hi there, sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I bought the 38 Superocean Heritage last November. After 5 weeks it had to go back for regulation as it was gaining about 15 secs a day. In April this year the winding crown fell off in my hands. 4 weeks ago, after doing some not too strenuous gardening, it suddenly began gaining 14 HOURS in 36!!!. I took it back to the shop and told them I was rejecting it. I got all my money back and bought a Rolex Sub ceramic date. I now find out that Breitling have discontinued this model, and more importantly have stopped using the ETA mech which is inside these watches. Sorry, but that is how it is.
Regards

Looks like the strap is a little wider than the lugs...they do make that strap in other mm sizes :)

Beautiful piece tho!! And love the old skool strap!
