Too young for a DJ?

do you guys feel that the DJ is not for young people? ive been torn between a sub and a DJ for some time now and a great deal on a new DJ has come up and im thinking about buying it, however would a 36mm DJ be seen as a little small a little old for a 26 year old?

I am a 26 year old and wear a TT DJ, age doesnt matter its a very comfy watch. If you want to make it more sporty get one with an Oyster band. I love mine;

It's your money, you should do what you want. I really like a smaller watch, but then I've never followed fashion ;-)

If you are over 13 - go for it. It will be your watch and who gives a sh$t what others think. Go with your gut.

The DJ is a classic Rolex model that all ages can wear. As others have said however, go with what you want. Since you are already questioning the DJ I'm assuming you are close to letting a "great deal" drive your final decision for the DJ. Ask yourself: Do I have any hesitations about the Sub? If that answer is no, then the Sub is what you REALLY want. Don't let a "great deal" lead you down a path you may long regret.

Age isn't the determining factor. The determining factor is what do you prefer and feel comfortable wearing.

I for one have been wearing Rolex since I was 21 and have always gone with the sport models. IMO they look better casual and can be worn with dress as well... Just a younger look.

To answer your question, are you too young for a DJ? NO, would be my opinion, would a SS Sub or something of the like look better? IMO, YES!

All of that being said at the end of the day you have to get what you like and will wear and enjoy for years to come, not what I or anyone else thinks... If that is a DJ then a DJ is the watch for you. Good luck and enjoy the looking

I can understand your situation. However, as many others are saying, it really is a classic watch and you can't go wrong...the SS models would look "younger" if that's your concern. People will probably say you have good taste for such a young man.

Age isn't an issue, it's how you carry yourself. Even a kid at 16 can look good with a DJ.

I'm 27 and just bought the DDII in rose gold with the chocolate face and I'm loving it! That being said....I bought a TT Sub C the next week because i love it too! I had a 36mm DD in yellow gold with smooth bezel and it was fantastic. I received tons of compliments and no one ever thought it looked out of place. I use to wear a Breitiling for Bentley Silverstorm 48mm and it just wasn't comfortable. You will love the 36mm DD. Either way your 26 and buying a Rolex...life is good my friend

I'm going to against the grain here and tell you not to just go for it, but to do some serious thinking. I owned two date just models before ultimately going to a sub. That said, i have owned 3 separate subs now, and have never looked back! I just traded my 16610 for an 116610 LN. This should tell you something. Now, I do like the DJ, and wish I would have kept one of them. But, if I could have done it all over, I would have got the Sub 1st. Then, added one of the DJ at a later time. Just more versatile!

with so many dial, bracelet and bezel options there is a dj for everyone.
i guess that am ss with dial with arabics is less conservative than a tt champagne dial with romans for example.

Get it if it's a good deal and you like it. I'm 33 and love mine.

It is not too small, it's a dressier, classier watch.

Not at all. All Rolex watches are cool. I'm young and have a 116200. DJ 2 is probably more casual and sporty looking, but 36mm is more classy. A great smart casual, dual purpose watch.
