As a relative newbie here i fear I am about to incur the ire of the curmudgeons

I had a weird dream last night about a Pepsi GMT II with a white dial. I don't think that Rolex has ever made one of these (although I would be happy to be corrected).

This got me thinking: is it possible to switch out dials between models? e.g. can you put a DJ, Exp II, or YM dial in a GMT II?
