Sub Date Second hand
Wondering if any of you can help me out on identifying a potential flaw. I have a new Z series sub date, purchased at an AD in Los Angeles. i think the tip of the second hand has some sort of tapering or crimping on it, is this normal? It just appears to have rougher finish than the rest of the second hand.

JJ,
would love too but it would require your photo skills or the skills of that fellow jocke who posts some times. its just the very tip of the second hand, nothing that you could notice unless you catch it on a side view without the glare. even if its a flaw i probably would live with it until watch needs service, just wanted to know if other sub owners have this "feature". |

If you think it is a defect, go back to your AD and have them check it out. Should be covered under warranty.

Viewed my Sub with an 8X Lupe, no crimp on second hand! Should be straight!

It'll be covered under warranty so if it bothers you take it back & I'm sure they'll sort it.
I had similar back in April when I noticed a paint flaw on my new Explorer II 24 hour hand (it aggravated the crap out of me once I noticed it), when I pointed out to my AD they were equally horrified & it had a new 24 hand fitted. |

Excellent close-up, Chris.
I've noticed that on my Exp-II, the red paint goes all the way down to the arrowhead!!
