Preference of dials
Just like to find out what preference of color dials you would choose between white and black dials.
In asia it seems that given a choice between the 2, the black is preferable. In europe and usa, it seems that the white is preferable. would appreciate if you can share your personal views on this. i would go for black dial because it gives it a sporty look and you can wear it to work or weekend or functions. |

I have seen many black Explorer II but never a white on a wrist. An AD salesman told me black dials are more popular in Sweden. The waitinglist on a white SS Daytona is shorter than the black one.

I couldn't decide. I liked black, but there was something about a blue face.
Then I stumbled across a "blue vignette" diamond dial watch. Problem solved. Black and blue together with diamonds. It was love at first sight. My DD and DJ both have this dial and look awsome....IMO BTW, I like white, MOP and silver too. I'm only a little closed minded. |

I think it depends on the watch.
GMT Black face... SS DJ white face.... I like the explorer White face better than black.

It seems that for my personal use, I buy black face dials. Just seem to fit my personal, conservative, taste.
My wifes daily DJ is white face and her "forspecial" DJ is the Rolex silver diamond dial. If I were to get myself a DJ, I think it would be white - or the Milgauss, I prefer the white dial. But generally: |
