Icon2 Rick the Pawnstar

Saw him last night on the show sporting a Rolex Milgaus. Sorry if this has been talked about before

Love the show first off, it features some really nice watches on the people's wrists. Rick wears a bunch of stuff, including Rolex (I'll bet he wears inventory). Corey has an AP in the recent episodes, and the gun expert always has a Sub.

I've dropped by there and they have some amazing stuff. Not your avg hole in the wall pawn shop. Their jewelry inventory is amazing.

You are not missing much. I was there a few weeks ago. They had around 40 watches all WAY WAY overpriced. Wanted $14,500 for a SS daytona that was pre owned.

past the door.

Over priced items?????? Of course..Its a PawnShop not a thrift store or outlet. Love the show but would NOT go there to look for a good deal on a watch or anything else .

Lots of Rolex and other nice watches worn on the show by Rick and Cory. Both the gun experts wear Subs. One TT blue and other 18K blue.

I was there during March. They were filming in the morning and we had to wait about 15 minutes before we could get in the store.

I saw Rick and Chumbly on the American version of Top Gear (a horrible version of the far superior British original, btw). Rick drives a Porsche Panamara and Chumbly a Lamborghini. What does that tell you about Rolex prices at the store?

Agreed, the British version is a classic, The American version is a waste of time. One of the American hosts wears a Sub LV. Show still sucks.

The money for the cars probably comes from the $$$$ for the show. I doubt Pawn shops are selling much in this economy especially at those ridiculous prices.

At $70,000 an episode I'm sure he doesn't have to wear the shops stock.

I'm surprised guys line up to go into a Pawn Shop

I am also surprised that the prices are very high...no bargains there so what's the point in going in...

From what I've seen of the show they seem to buy almost anything. They must have a huge inventory of 'stuff'

However I would dare say they are making money...lots of money

It's fake for TV. TRust me you would never cut your own throat with a so called expert. The best pawn shop show by far is Hardcore Pawn. Much more realistic. Their building is an old bowling alley. Lots of square footage. My customers that have when to Gold and Silver Pawn in Las Vegas say it's only about 1/4 the size of my shop and some of that is roped off for the show.
