Ahead or Behind?
When I got my LV, it was 8 seconds ahead. So off to the RSC it went and now it's a few seconds behind, but within spec.
So the question being is would you rather deal with it being a few seconds ahead or a few seconds behind? |

I prefer to have a +1 to +3 watch for that mental "warm fuzzy"
I recognise that even a -3 or -4, over the course of a year would only be a few minutes, but, in my mind......I would feel the need to hurry since my watch runs slow. However, in the past decade I will have to say.....I have not checked for that type of accuracy. All 4 of my Rolex, or any of the others for that matter, are set the same way when put on....I set to either the cable TV display or my cell phone, and then forgotten 'til next time. In recent memory, I have not been late yet due to my watch. |

Definitely always ahead, easier to reset & you're never late for an appointment etc.

Rather be ahead than be behind - especially applicable for meetings or interviews.

You had 8 seconds fast and now you 3 seconds slow the RSC really messed with you for coming back for complaint. That aint right.

Leave it face down, during the night and you may find it,to be spot on.My Sea-Dweller has been face down, for the past three nights and gained 1s over the three days. Before, when left face up it was -2s/day.
The Expl II was -1.7s/day when left face up,now with face down, its at -0.5s/day. Try face down, for your -3s/day watch,it may just work .. |
