The new ExpII is bigger & more expensive. The word on the street is there will be a long wait to get one from an AD.

Personally I think the nicest looking white dial Rolexes are the Datejust II white face with Roman numerals, and the white face Milgauss.

Think these are nicer looking.

Good luck.

Local AD.....

When I bought my SUB116613, (almost 28% discount) I asked if same discount would apply for an SS Daytona... AFFIRMATIVE.

He was generous because (he thought) I was going to buy 2 watches at the same time...

I'd choose the ExpII simply to have a date feature. I'm aware that many, many members here feel a date is unnecessary, but I prefer to have it.

G'day...i was in the same situation last weekend. Deciding between new Exp II and Daytona. Daytona sang to me louder than Exp II so white Daytona is now reserved for me :)

Btw, my first post here so hello to all.

Explorer II (42mm) for me without a doubt, IMO this one will be worth the wait Daytona will be changing in under 2 years with the ceramic bezel added to the TT next year and SS the following. This is of course IMO and I have no proof this would be the case, just a good assumption from what usually happens

Have you considered a DJ II? White stick dial.
Around the same price as the Exp II and it really has some pop

You can always get a 16570 Exp II White Dial!

For the price of the new Exp II model, your funds could buy you both black and white dial versions, or something else!
