FS: Zenith Defy Classic El Primero Chronograph Aero
This is a superb (excellent over-all condition) Zenith Defy Classic El Primero Chronograph Aero, Model 03.0526.4000/21.M526, in all brushed stainless steel. The sapphire display case-back, crown and chrono pushers all screw-down, and the steel bracelet features a hidden double deployant clasp.
The black textured dial, hands and crystal are all mint, there is a quick-set date aperture between the 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock markers. The chronometer-rated 36,000 beat Zenith El Primero Calibre 4000SC 31-jewel movement, inspected and regulated by Adam Parrish of Palmer's Jewellers, the Rolex AD in KoKoMo, Indiana, is operating flawlessly and keeping superb time. This is a big watch, with a case width of 46mm and a thickness of 17mm. The screw-down chronograph pushers and crown provide water resistance to 300 meters / 1000 feet . . . The black uni-directional 60-minute elapsed-time PVD bezel is excellent . . . Serial number 1777xx, and guaranteed authentic. No boxes or papers are present, but new boxes can be obtained directly from Zenith USA for $175 . . . $3299 plus actual carriage.
