Other Sub owners might think I lost my mind?
I doubt I'm alone in this thinking, maybe I am? Currently I wear a W serial TT Sub, love the watch, not the TT thing. I have found myself wearing my Bond on more than one occasion as I find the TT has way to much flash. So here I am, wanting to trade down to what I feel is the more classic Rolex Submariner, stainless.
Usually its the other way around, most want to trade up. My dilemma is, those who I know who also love watches will cast their eyes down in shame for even knowing me, a TT to SS convert, bestow upon me words of wisdom, or better yet, let me know I am not alone? My own bride feels I have lost my mind, its already a losing battle. |

Likewise not a great fan of TT watches, but saying that I do like the TT blue sub.Dont think I would trade a TT for
a S.steel sub,but its your money and its what you like only you can choose.

Now a dress watch is a color of a different horse altogether. I have two TT Roman dial DJs which I think are gorgeous. They YG on them adds just the right amount of bling to a dress watch.

Excellent choice! Had I a TT sub, it wouldn't last a week. I'd sell it off, buy a SS sub and bank the rest for my next SS purchase. GO FOR IT!

I had a TT black sub and didn't care for it. At first I thought it was really nice, but soon found the gold to be too susceptible to scratching and I had to be so careful with the watch that it wasn't much fun. I ended up with an LV and an SD soon after that. Even had an SS Daytona in the mix but I found that wanting one was more intriguing than owning one, and it also went.
I don't miss it, frankly. But I love the SD and the LV. I satisfy my dressy Rolex need with the TT 17013 OQ with the fully brushed integral bracelet. I find that its design lends itself to TT better than the sport models. Just one rodent's opinion. |

Truth be told, I see a TT Daytona in my future, but that's mainly because the SS is way overpriced. My SD would not go with as much of my wardrobe if it was TT - SS is just the right amount of stealth bling!
