New to the Breitling world...

Have had a Datejust for a few months now, and decided to add to my ongoing collection with a Breitling. Wasn't exactly sure which model to go with, but finally decided on this pre owned Antares which is in fantastic shape. Couldn't find a whole lot of info on them, so I'm not sure how well received they are in this community, but here it is anyhow.

Looks Good, Congrats.

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone makes straps quite like they do.

Does anyone know if there's a way to tell specifically what year this watch was made? I know Breitling started adding a date of manufacture later on, but wasn't sure if there was a way to know before that with the serial or something.

As far as production dates on older models, would have your AD contact breitling. Typically, they will not release the date when the watch was registered, but will share when it was distributed, or sent to the retailer. But, if the watch came from an AD in another country, not much you can do.

Looks great by the way!

Bet it would also look great on a navy croc...

Thanks everyone.

Also, early nineties is what I figured as well. Doesn't matter too much, just curious.

Interesting site, thanks for sharing.

Are there any other models similar in current price to the Antares someone could recommend me? Pre-owned is fine.
