My watch is worth more than my car, but my number plate is worth 3 times more than my watch.

so, when you are at a stoplight and your arm is on the window sill of the toyota, and you are admiring your rolex, do you get the sense that the dude in the car next to you thinks its a 20$ fake?
i do. |

My car is always the focal point of my colleague's at work's jokes. I drive a Hyundai Amica.and it is without a doubt the worst car in the entire company. The way I look at it is Some people like quality cars and appretiate them. Some people like me appretiate a good quality watch and choose to spend the funds in that direction. Some other people see the value in both cars and watches. The way I personally look at it is as a personal opinion perspective on ultimatley what goods you value the most. However I feel the real deal is around what makes you happy.

My cars are worth a lot more than my Rolex's. I guess my watches are worth $17-18k and I have about $25k in the engine of my Corvette alone. Sure the watches hold their value better but they can't go 210 MPH.....

'97 Jetta MKIII. Sub is worth roughly twice as much. Both, however, are built to last forever.

And in that kind of speed you need a German made car if the road begins to swing.

I drive a 98 F150 (less then 80k miles on it) I bought it from my dad. It was his truck when he goes fishing or does random side job. It wasn't used that often. Next year I'm looking at a gas sipping car. The money I save on gas would paid most of the car note. So my SD is worth a little more then my current car.

I do have a Chevy Duramax diesel truck also.....and a 2002 Nissan Frontier 4x4 truck, but the Honda beater is my daily driver. My wife drives a 2010 Toyota Prius. I MUCH prefer to put my money in watches over cars.
