Bezel insert.. Would you change it?

I have purchased this oem insert for my omega. Now that I have it I'm not 100% sure if I should change it out. What do you think??

Thanks.

Why would you buy a fake insert for that Omega watch?

Are you sure the black will go with the orange numbers?

Well after seeing those pictures I can only say it would look pretty good! I think it makes the numerals pop out (in a good way, of course) while it gives the watch a more sober look.

Not to hijack this but how does one go about changing the insert? I was always under the impression that with Omega's you could not swap out the insert like a Rolex but had to replace the entire bezel.

I've been thinking about the same swap. I think I might go with the whole bezel, instead of just the insert so I can change it out like a strap!

Hi,
Yes that is what i was told by Omega. I am restoring my 1997 Seamaster Pro Bond and i am changing the face and the hands and i wanted to change just the bezel insert as the bezel itself is fine.
It looks as though you can change the bezel insert on teh new PO, but does anyone know if this can be done with the Seamaster Pro big Bond??

I like the black bezel much more than the orange. I do like the orange hands with the black bezel.

Especially in the photos above. Looooove that matte dial.

I sold mine yesterday (completed the deal) and I am already missing the watch. ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!

Where did you find the insert? I was told you had to buy entire bezel, which is very expensive. Pls advise.

Trouble with the PO and the SMP is that you need a special tool to pull the bezel off. Can't be done with a knife, like on a Submariner.
