Rattling end links on the 93150 bracelet
Hi, I put on my 93150 bracelet yesterday and had quite a struggle figuring out how to put the end links which I finally did.
One of the endlinks seems to rattle when I shake the watch, Is this normal or I might have not fit it properly? Thanks

Pics please from different angles. It is either a spring bar issue or the end link is bent our of shape.

it could lso be wear the endlink joins the next link with the fold over part that is attached to the 'spring bar holder' not being tight enough so it is loose and can be moved slightly. only a mm or 2 and it will be able to move slightly and thus endlink will rattle as it is not firmly in place.
If its that you will know what i mean, compare it with teh other side or do they both rattle?

I'd go with 580s for that bracelet and reference. 501s might be better for the 16800 etc..

501's or 501b's should also work fine but are not "period correct".

Also besides the 2 end links, how many bracelet links come with a 9315 and 93150?
I checked my 9315 and that has 380 end links, should be correct I guess? Thanks

Thanks Rob & Christopher. So guess those 501B's should have been 580"s on my 93150 that might explain the rattling.

:)..Rob, that's a great link by Nikos (greekbum).
Can't seem to find info on how many links a 9315 and 93150 should have though.

Plus just concerned that those endlinks could scratch the part where the serial/ref no. is with all the rattling, if they not the recommended ones for a 1680.

Thanks Rob:), is that counting the piece link that goes into the endlink as a separate link or excluding that?

Thanks Rob, checked, my 93150 has 13 including the end pieces that go into the endlink, so that's correct.
Have counted 11 on the 9315 so far, can't figure out if have to count the very small link that goes into/is attached the endlink since is not a long link piece like in the 93150 and is permanently attached to the endlink.

I know my 93150 has 12, as I have two of them. + the link I had posted also says 12.. Although if you do count them, there is only 11!?!! Must be under the clasp?!!
As for the 9315, I count 13 here: (6 on the 6 side, and 7 on the 12 side!)

No, 12 on the 93150...That's including the link connected to the buckle, and the link connected to the extension.

Thanks, thought will post pictures of the 93150 to make sure(please excuse the iphone pics)....note that I have one link with me that have taken off so that's to be added to the total. So would these be 13 including one I removed?

And here's the 9315. looks like 11 including 2 under the clasp? Is that silver blank piece joining the 2 in the clasp counted as a link?

Also view of the 501B endlinks from some older pictures I had, does that gap between the bezel and endlink look right?

One last suggestion: Don't shake the watch...At least not obsessively!
