Authenticate this Submariner please

Can anyone authenticate this sub? If anything is wrong, be detailed. Thanks!

All fake, clasp is dead giveaway, very common for fakes

Thanks Alex. What are the differences you look for in the clasp? Any links to any real ones that can differentiate the two?

...das FAULKER...

...NOTICE the telltale 62523H 18 on the folding clasp-consistent with fakes.

...62523H 18 is a ref# for a 2-tone JUBILEE band-not an Oyster band.

...telltale D12 clasp.

...telltale circle on the bottom of the crown on the buckle-consistent with fakes.

...genuine is a flattened arch.

...crown guard incorrect.

...rectangular thumbnail recess-fake.

...genuine is CONCAVE.

...etc, etc, etc.

I don't know if you're trying to buy this watch, but people need to spend less time trying to authenticate the watch and more time trying to authenticate the seller.

I'm trying to learn more about the watches themselves. I've purchased two Datejusts from 0-5 feedback members and brought them to Rolex service centers and had proven them authentic after opening the caseback. I don't want to miss out on a good deal just because someone has low feedback. (we all have to start somewhere right?)

Maybe there's a reason this guy has low feedbacks?

Seller was unaware. I messaged him on eBay and he removed his listing on his own will.

You got lucky. Playing against the odds - might work

All the best! With high risk comes high rewards but be prepared - you can't always win 100% via this strategy!

Also noticed he sold a similar watch "black face submariner" back in 2006 for around $1700. Seems like he's up to no good.

Tudor, it is under his recent feedback. He sold a similar Submariner and received positive feedback for it.

Yep, I posted the same listing here yesterday:
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=193911

I noticed that he has just changed his user name today as well. Now he is "mirab1nd13" (yesterday he was "bigballin86").
