Reasonable price for a used k series 005?

i'm on the hunt for a pam and finally decided to buy a 005 over the 111. My buddy/co-worker told me to take his 005 for a reasonable price. what's a reasonable price? $3k? thanks.

A deal between friends is complicated. I'd suggest coming to an amicable deal by researching the prices on TZ, P.com and here on TRF. Look for 5's and 0's as reference.

If you sell me that 005 at $3k, I'd be all over it, but I don't know if I'd do that to a friend.

for the seller of course....he's the one who mentioned the figure anyway....Just to be fair, I'm thinking of trading him my almost bnew Breitling Superocean Abyss (bought for $3k) plus $1.5k cash...he's about to buy one anyway and I think this should be fair enough for both of us...

Since you already think its fair and reasonable, why ask???? You've already answered the question for yourself.
