Very nice, Peter. :-) That's a classic-looking watch.
I have one of the original DeVille Co-Axial Limited Editions, in white gold. I've had it about five years. It's one of my favorites, and I often wear it as a dress watch. |

Nice piece. I would've got one long ago, if I didn't already have this.

When I bought the Cartier, I was still living with my parents and my father just could not believe the outlay of money for something as mundane as a watch. My parents lived through WWII and always had a hard life. They’d never splash out on something like an expensive watch. A total waste of money to them. At some point in time my collection comprised of 18 watches (9 for each wrist), but only two of them were notable, an Omega Moon Watch and the 16610. (I sold the Cartier to my brother who still wears it everyday). But you can only wear one watch at a time (unless you are the CEO of Swatch). Watches have become accessories instead of life time investments now. Even the more expensive ones. I would like to own the Omega but not as my only watch. We are not ‘one watch’ guys. Take care, Frans.
