Sub gaining

It has been three days now and the sub has gained 20 secs.
What are the accepted tolerances?
and no, laying any which way has not made a jot of difference so it needs regulating

If it's brand new, give it a few weeks to break in. Then see how it does

Chrono specs are -4/+6 a day. Like Paul said give it a while to see if it settles in.

Agree with the other guys give it around a month to see if it improves. Now its best to check your watch over a week.Give it a full manually wind around 40 crown turns, set watch with reliable time source, then wear as normal.Check deviations with the same time source over a week for the total time gain. Now if your watch don't settle down to the COSC spec -4 to +6 seconds a day have it regulated. Now if AD has a in-house watchmaker he could do it takes around 30 Min's.But if near to a RSC they would do it while you wait its a very simple job.

No, and that happened to me with my very first post on a German watch forum that I - and MANY others - have left now. It really sucked.

Well, over 6 secs a day is a bit on the steep side, IMHO, but as the others said, take a deep breath and wait a month to see what happens.

UPS!

SORRY! Do NOT hold your breath for a month, promise me!
