Crown on new GMT ll
I was just looking at the official Rolex website, and although the crown looks larger as we know, it looks just slightly smaller than the SUB crown. Is it the exact same size, or is there a slight, hardly noticeable difference in size?

i think that the crown has the exact size with the sub cause it's a triplock crown.

Are the shoulders around it the same size as the SUB?

I've just put my sub crown next to my 50 year anniversary GMT II and I'd say they are the same size. The crown guards on the GMT are much bigger than the subs.

That is why the Crown looked smaller on the new GMT...the shoulders are larger making it look more recessed. Thanks, that answers my question. And it is a good point, because the shoulders that protect the crown is my view a real good idea, and I think that is a real positive for the new GMT and a factor that would incline me to want one more.

The larger guards help the looks. With the new supercase, anything much smaller would probably look somewhat funny.
