the power of fashion

I have been a bit unsure about the combatibilty of my TT daytona...it seems to look out of place with most of my clothes except for a nice italian hand made shirt I own...ofcourse I dont wear it every day..
Untill now i have been unable to find the correct match in my wardrobe.
Yesterday I was in the city and walked by a brandname clothes store (no need to say which one) while combing through the collection, found a cashmere sweater with the exact same color as my cream dialed panda TT.
I dont have to worry anymore, it was the best 200 euro I have ever spent on a sweater...goes perfect..pictures will follow...

anyone else match clothes with there precious watch?

so... does that mean you will be wearing that sweater everyday, possibly with that hand made Italian shirt you have?

I wonder if my wife would go for that excuse. I'll have to give that a try. Honey, I need more watches so I can match my wardrobe.

Eric, you just had to go and do it. That's a heck of a thought to walk around with today. I think I need to visit the nearest Pub and get drunk now.

I wish I had enough watches to match my clothes. But back on topic, a watch is (god forbid) an accessory partly and therefore it makes sense to try to match it.

But then again, I'm European.

My clothes matching my watch is about the last thing in the world I worry about......or possibly....... what Lady Gaga is doing, what the Kardashians think, what book Oprah recommends, etc.......

For me it's quite easy. I mostly wear black shirts (or t-shirts) with jeans and I believe it looks quite good with a gold or a stainless-steel watch. The only time I was worried is when I was looking for my Seamaster but I was lucky enough to find a nice black bezel/dial one for a good price.

I can tell you that the only thing I care about my watch matching is whatever activity I'll be engaging in for any given day.

Fortunately, my Explorer and DJ fit almost every thing I might be doing.

That goes for every other watch I have, with the possible exception of the Casio G-Shock.

Well at least it wasn't the mankini.
