Not really sure where to make my home on here....
Ok so first post...really really excited to be here. I have owned multiple Citizen watches and always have had a thing for Rolex watches but have never really been able to swing it. Well...finally have hit my short term (just thinking after this one there should be more to come) grail of watches. I am now the owner of the Rolex Submariner.
Ok so...to my question...where to make my home. From my understanding my watch is a 1987 Submariner in SS and gold with Blue. So then does that mean it's Vintage??? It just seems so close to the new ones to really be called vintage...so thoughts on this one??? |

I wouldn't call it vintage. But you could swing both ways if you want

Welcome to TRF.
Typically if the watch has an acrylic crystal it is considered vintage. Eventually this to will change. No matter, you can hang out wherever you wish.

Ah nice...will try that...I am pretty sure the flash on my phone would rival the lights on the top of the Luxor in Vegas. Actually if any of you thought you just saw lightning during the daytime...you didn't...it was just my flash...no need to worry.
