Jared's Remaining Inventory?
Thought I'd start a thread with remaining inventory of Jared's, given the 40% off they're offering (wish I'd called when the DDII's were on firesale earlier this week).
Plano TX - DD YG x 2 (champagne sticks, silver diamonds) 40% off both Lewisville TX - DD WG (white face, romans) 40% off |

I'll be headed to a Jared's in the midwest tomorrow. I've been told they have several DJs and Air Kings left.

40% off for a TT Sub seems like a worthy discount to me

Dennis, I believe the date just II was only discounted at 10%. I received 35% off on my yellow gold day date II.

If they are able to sell these watches for these huge discounts, you have to wonder what they purchased them for. I am sure the mark up is 50%.
Anyone know what Rolex margins are? |

Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, PA)
Went here this evening.
Blue (old bezel) 18K Submariner ~ $25,000, reduced to $15,000. (Tried it on and could not ever feeling good about wearing it OR I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT at $10,000 off BNIB!) Cerachrome ? (ceramic) TT Sub and TT GMT Master II (both V serials)... both 20% off. NO TT Bluesy Sub available.

I wonder why there is a disparity in discounts across state lines?!

Rolex margins are around 39% to 41%. At least back in 2006. As price increases, the margins goes up from there.

If this was as of last week then there is definitely disparity across state line. Could be as the days progress from the initial sales date, the discount % began to increase a little. The first day of the sales the milgauss was not on the list, by the second day it was discounted 40%. All up to corporate and how they are feeling.

This is usually true if not more. On Rolex watches it is not true. And even on Omega it is not true although I heard their margins are around 55% to 60% a few years ago but even Omega is trying to reduce the margins retailers can make on their watches.

40% off a YG DD would be about the same as grey price?
