My Wife Said 'Yes'!

Over the last few years I've let myself go and gained a bunch of weight. With working out and a change in diet over the last 7 months I've lost 45 pounds and a little over ten inches off my waist.
So my lovely wife agreed that if I can get to a 32 or lower waist size by Christmas or New Years I can buy the watch that I want as a reward to myself. I feel confident that I can do it, but I'll have to work hard at it.
I really like the New Explorer II, but I'd have to see it on my wrist. I like the size (I think) so that I can read the watch more easily: my close-up vision isn't what it used to be. I like its subdued looks, etc. But again I would have to see it on my wrist.
But despite my preference of subdued looks I LOVE the look of the two-tone GMT!
What to do?!
Oh, I know what to do. "Thank you wife!"

The 2-tone gmt is an amazing watch, you will have trouble picking something else if you try that one on.

Keep up the good work, and get to an AD near you take a look for that little extra inspiration.

Either one will make a great choice.

I say the heck with the diet. Go buy the watch right now before the next price increase so you save some cash. Then go out and celebrate your new watch with a huge steak and lobster with a huge slice of cheesecake for desert. Perfect night.

Buy the Expy II now and the GMT when you hit the 32" mark.

Tell your wife in advance what your plans are.

Duck.

Life and a qualify life is far more important then a watch. Watches are some of the sweet icing, but if you don't have your health, then there is no cake. Probably shouldn't use a food analogy, eh?

Congratulations on your moving in the right direction.

The two tone GMT is subdued with a touch of color. It pulls off a nice balancing act. I can't speak to the new Exp II as I have yet to see one up close and personal.

Great work!!!

I agree. If you are going to buy new at an AD, get the watch now.

Ten inches off the waist? THAT deserves a watch I say!

It takes serious dedication to lose waist inches.
Running 2-3 miles a day 3 times a week might do it.
Good luck with your new watch.

Awesome! How did you lose the weight? Watching your diet and regular exercise? Or some awesome cabbage only diet? As a former fat guy, I know how hard it can be. Keep it up.
