Planet Ocean Date changing problem?

Just had my 4 year-old Planet Ocean (caliber 2500) back from repair (it had stopped, and Omega UK repaired it) and now the date seems not to move forward at midnight. I have now reset the date 4 times over the last 10 days (resetting it at midmorning) to the new correct date, but come the next morning (so 24 hours later) it is still on the same date. Sometimes it changes at midday, other times not at all??

Any clues as to what is happening please?

Many thanks

David (UK)

If it changes at midday, then i sounds like you have set your watch 12 hours wrong.

Pull out the crown, and turn the hands. Check when it changes the date.
If it changes at 12 every second time, then nothing is wrong.
Set the date to yesterday, turn until date changes. Its now midnight. Set the hands to correct time, make sure to go past 12 if is is pm.

If it changes random, send it back again.
