What do you think?

Hi all,

Suppose you have a few pieces of rolex watches (maybe about 4 - 5 pieces) and say they are all over 10 years and they are all still working satisfactorily.

If under such circumstances, would you send them in for a servicing or would you rather buy another brand new one for wear and keep instead of sending them in? You still have the old pieces working and another new piece instead of only the old ones serviced.

what do you think?

Isn't this kind of like not changing the oil in your current car and just going out and buying a new one? All things mechanical will require servicing and IMO its best to do the preventative sort.

I would have your watches serviced so they stay in top notch shape and of course buying a new one is always fun!!!

it depends if you took real good care of the watches then you don't need to service them. i would only service the watch if you go to beach or swimming pools ect. otherwise buy a new watch because you will be adding value. if you are selling your watches you will get the same weather it was recently serviced or not. plus you get to add to your collection
