Bowling and Rolex

I've taken up bowling in the last year and for awhile I was going a couple of times a month and sometimes several times.

Recently, I've begun to go several times a week and sometimes I bowl up to 15 or more games a trip.

My league average is currently 133.

Now, all this would be unremarkable, except that I've noticed that my Explorer, which was gaining about 2-3 seconds a day is gaining so little time that I'm having a hard time seeing any change over the last 24 hours.

I'm not basing this off one 24 hour period. It's just something I've noticed over the last month during those times that I'm wearing my Explorer since I started league bowling and have stepped up my practice sessions.

Anyway, it's a nice side-effect of recreational activities.

Do you wear your watch on your ball-hand? I'm right handed, so I bowl with my right but my watch is on the left.

I'm right-handed and wear my watch on my left hand.

Still, spending four or more hours slinging that ball around with my right hand gives me plenty of opportunity to keep the left hand moving nearly constantly, especially during practice sessions, when I'm bowling with two balls just to keep the pace up.

Well, after nearly a week of wearing my Explorer while doing some major bowling, like the 15 games I bowled today, my Explorer went from gaining about 2 seconds a day to having lost about 3 seconds over the last 6 days.

If nothing else, this demonstrates that some serious activity can have a pretty significant influence on your watch's accuracy.
