Secure International Shipping: USA to Australia

Hi,

Can someone please suggest a secure way of shipping a $3000 watch from united states to australia, with tracking if possible?

Time is not much of an issue. I mean 5-10days is ok, but has to be secure.

How about overnight? How much do those services cost?

I am thinking USPS Priority Mail.

thanks,
humvee

I suggest Fedex.... I always receive their packages and they can be tracked.

Fedex has served me well for quite a few watches from the USA. No problems at all. Worth considering using 3rd party insurance eg: Parcel Pro.

I recommend using Jewel Systems.

This is an excellent method of combining both insurance and secure shipping. I used them for shipping a watch I purchased in the US. I simply set it all up online then emailed the seller the shipping label. This is a standard fedex service but comes with reduced corporate shipping rates and the ability to fix the exact type of insurance you require.

Be aware that many shipping servcies will take your cash for insurance but in the event of a loss will point to their small print which prohibits high value watches being shipped.

I tracked it online using the fedex website and 5 days later it was here.

Parcelpro has a similar service but unfortunately they didn't ship to my country so i can only comment on my experience with Jewel Systems.
