My SD was running pretty fast and the bezel was pretty beat up. The watch is about 15 years old. When I bought the watch, the seller didn't know the service history. So I factor the service cost and paid a really okay price. I knew I was going send it in soon. So I decide to treat my SD to a nice spa trip. I decide to send it to Bob Ridley. I was suppose to receive my watch much sooner, but the HE valve experiences some problems during the water pressure test. I'm really please with the work and it was a real pleasure to do business with Mr. Ridley. I'm getting a new camera soon. I really wish I can take picture with my eyes. So I can really capture the beauty of this watch. When the watch was gone. I did have thoughts about trading it in for a GMT/Sub-C. But as soon I open the box, all that doubt went away. This is a keeper for me. Now I'm saving up for a Sub-LV or GV and GMT Pepsi.

Is that a Champ or a Hunter on the case btw?

Was Bob able to water pressure test to 4000 ft? I've heard only RSC can test to that depth. Not that anyone will dive that deep but just curious.

Thanks, its the Champ. Funny thing I probably use the scissor, corkscrew and the bottle opener more then anything. I really want to use the metal saw...

Yes, he was able to pressure test my SD. Bob had to ordered some tool to correct the Helium valve problem. So that took another two weeks to get it done.

LOL my uncle thought I got another Rolex. What was more funny is this. The week before I shipped the watch. I went to the beach with it. My uncle thought I was crazy for going swimming with it. I was like that sucker can go 4000 ft deep. I'm sure it can handle some sun. Follow two weeks later, my uncle noticed I wasn't wearing my watch and asked what happen to it. I told him it was getting service. My uncle almost caught a heart attack, he thought I broke it lol....
