We are for good in autumn and i have already delayed the traditional seasonal change in the bezel insert of the Gmt.

The position of the funky and summer Pepsi is going to get it the more serious Coke still with color notably red again but dark red, this time, Burgundy and black in the position of the vivid blue.

As always, the black "thick" electrical tape is the first we need in order not to knock our heads later and because a little extra protection never hurt anyone

After we cover the lugs and the bracelet for any unpleasant mishaps that can be done during the process, we remove the bezel with the Insert.

Carefully because underneath there is the little spring ( which is almost double as the old one, after it changed to RSC during the last year service) and the extra thin insert.

Here is the case and the hole to accommodate the spring and of course without extra insert, spring and bezel with insert

Very nice,

I used to have this a GMT2 and used to switched often from blue/red to all black. BUT i found it was still a weak point of the watch, as this bezel can pop easily if you hit by mistake a door jamb or anything else ( happend 2 times to me ) so I sold it and bought the fixed bezel version, named black Explore 2, could't be happier.

The GMT2 was and still is a great watch, though, but less adapted to the ruggeness of some activities...

I don't think that is weak or sensitive, Pierre.
As a matter a fact once i slammed it so hard to the rear door of my car that the teeth of the bezel removed the color from the door. When i found the courage to inspect the watch i realized that it didn't have, not even a tiny scratch !!!!

Great post Panos,always had my GMT as a Pepsi. Sold it as it was a bit small on my wrist compared to the TT blue SubC i have now. Still a great watch though.

That combo sounds wicked! Tried something similar here:

Eugene's end links are responsible for lots of strap sales.

I am talking about my experience here, I lost two times the bezel of my GMT2. It didnt't damage it but lost a couple of times.
It is still a great watch, I really enjoyed mine, but the bezel was the weak point for me...
It wont happened with my Exp2 .
