Rolex GMT Master II 16753?

Is the 16753 a GMT Master or a GMT Master II?

Does the 'II' designation always indicate an independent GMT hand?

Thank you . . .

Based on what I have found at:

http://gmtmasterhistory.com/index.html

It appears that the 16753 is a GMT Master. It also appears that the 16760 is the first to be designated as a GMT Master II and this is also when the Caliber 3085 was first used. With the new caliber 3085 the 24-hour hand became Independently adjustable. Yes it does appear as the GMT II means the 24 hour hand can be adjusted independently.

All 6542 , 1675/x , 1675x , 1670x are GMT master

All 1676x , 1671x , 11671x are GMT Master 2 with independant hour hand.

The "x" digit designate only in which metal the watch is build : 3 is for rolesor steel/YG , 8 is for YG , 9 is for WG (no GMT in WG) , 5 is for RG (no GMT in RG) , ....

I have been offered a Rolex 16753 with 'GMT Master II' on the dial.

It is two-tone with a non-adjustable 24 hour hand, as confirmed by the seller.

According to the responses here, and to the research I've done, this watch should have a GMT-Master dial, without the II.

And yet the seller indicates the watch is all original . . .
