Advice
I have a 96 Submariner 18k/SS, and just got rid of my Explorer 2 2000 model. I was looking to buy a new watch, new style, but I am leaning more to getting a vintage Rolex. I have between 5000-8000 to spend, what would you guys recommend. I want a sports watch, can you guys recommend a good watch for a beginner, thanks in advance

Can't go wrong with any Vintage Sports Model... But since you have a TT sub already I would go for a Pepsi GMT.

You get a get a vintage Submariner, white 1680, 16800.
A nice Seadweller with lug holes. If for daily wear, my personal preference would be a sapphire crystal model, like a SD |

Heck, you could buy nearly 2 watches with $8,000 If it was me, I think a nice GMT would be in order to compliment the Sub.
