Bill Clinton on the Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart

He was wearing a Jaeger LeCoultre Navy Seals Alarm tonight... What a stunning watch... Dammit, should have bought PSV's the price was so fair. Mine is close enough I guess, so no sleep lost yet.

This is the watch Mr. Clinton was wearing

Love that detail... Always liked the ceramic bezel, the numerals, the hands, the sound of the alarm, the articulated rubber bracelet.

Wouldn't necessarily trade it for mine though - love the Worldtimer function. But would be nice to play with it for a bit

Here's mine, btw - obviously stock photo

Looking forward to see that episode tomorrow.

And yes, it is a rather special watch. President Clinton have some other rather nice Panerai, GP pieces as well.

As long as common sense is applied, it shouldn't turn into one.

It seems like the Navy Seals have more watches than Parris Island has sand fleas.

I kind of agree with the snob, much as I hate to admit it. Regardless, it's a beautiful watch and very high up on my wish list!

Let's face it, there is nothing "SEAL" about that watch at all. If anything I'd say it is not up to it because the bezel is on the frail side and I found the pins to be under-dimensioned - they should have opted for screw-in bars of much bigger diameter IMO. Having said that, it is made out of beautiful grade 5 titanium, the whole piece is rather understated and not in-your-face because of the dull shades/colors and it wears comfortably for it size.

An interesting read
I am pretty sure JLC will not discount their tool watches for Special Forces, LEO's and expidition personel, unlike Kobold watches who play the collaboration card a lot but actually have watches used by the intended people, and the wanabee hampton swimmers

Oh and i have just hit 1000 posts

There it is!

That thing, along with the IWC Big Pilot, are so legible that you can read time across the room. Or on a TV broadcast!

Then again, proving that President Clinton and I don't have the same upbringing, wearing this watch to a suit...

Let's just call it a tribute watch and it makes JLC look better, as if they really need a boost in horological reputation.

Oh jeez guys, lighten up on the 'branding'. I'm sure every person who owns a Rolex Explorer climbs Everest.

It comes with both, I'm just a 'bracelet man', through and through.

This is the strap it comes with. I'd love to get a leather strap for it though
