1) my toenail clippings have better resale value
2) convoluted movements with tons of proprietary parts make these watches an expensive service nightmare 3) dated designs really limit potential customers, so if you wanted to flip it, you'd have a hard time. Only way i'd consider an FM is at a better than 60% off discount, and even then I'd think twice. Plenty of other solid brands out there, IMO.

Not really a "must have" watch. Some models are using a movement, based on ETA.
The Russians love this watch. One of the most famous models : Conquistador. Too expensive and you can get better watches for this money. Regards, Alexander |

I like the fact that Franck Muller makes some complicated pieces (the Crazy Hour is impressive as hell) but I think their dials look a bit childish sometimes. As already mentioned, not a must have but it would surely have a special spot in a collection.

Greg, we all know I like a Lil bling here n there... Can I get them clippings with some channel set diamonds? Lololol
This is def a board 1st for me hearing bad comments on a particular brand... I saw the FM 8880 Casablanca Chrono with pvd case. I thought it was very sharp and different looking.

Mike, if you want tasteful 'man-bling', look to some complicated UN's. If you like the non-round shape, Richard Mille comes to mind.
All I'm saying is that there are tons of brands I'd look to before FM. And the service end of that company has no back-bone, and I'm talking from first hand experience here. Recently have been dealing with one of FM's 'sub-brands', the now defunct Martin Braun - and it has been an absolute nightmare. My honest advice - save yourself some headache.

I have still to see one I like. Horrible designs. But if I'm not mistaken AP make some of their movements.
Edit: I think I was talking about Richard Mille. |
