Aluminium Bezel Insert Can Peel Off....
Does anyone here know if the aluminium bezel insert can also peel off it's anodized color? I know the color can fade over time especially if the watch is often subjected to direct sunlight, but can the color layer be peeled off?

It is anodized which is a chemical process. Once a reaction takes place, there are no "layers" like an old painted house.
Learn more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anodising Notice the carabiners on the right -- that's basically a pepsi bezel GMT. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() The bezel coloring isn't something that's "attached" to the metal, therefore it can't be peeled off. I don't know how else to explain it.

Yeah it's a good enlightenment.
![]() And I'm sure as another perfectionist in this forum, you are wondering about the same question as I am, aren't you?! ![]()

![]() ![]() Yes, I only got two hours sleep since I was awake almost the whole night thinking about that bezel. That is also why I could only come up with this "because that is how it is" reply ![]()

I'm somewhat useful every once in a while (or so my wife says).
