Calibre 13 vs Chrono Evolution
I stopped by one of Breitling's stores last week and the sales staff told me that Chrono Evolution has been discontinued and replaced by Calibre 13.
What is the difference between them? Thank you for your comments!! |

As far as I know, there isn't a difference.

The difference is the new movement is now produced in house which has skyrocketed the price!!!
The older Chronomat I think is a much better looking watch anyway!! But I'm biased... 056 by goold1, on Flickr 023 by goold1, on Flickr

The chronomat calibre 13 doesn't have the in house movement, the Chronomat B01 has the in house movement.

The Calibre 13 or Breitling 13 is the name for the modified ETA Valjoux 7750 movement inside of the older Chronomat model. The B01 is all in house now and much more expensive. I have a 2009 Chronomat with the 13 inside of it, flawless...

The cal 13 is pretty durable and bullet proof. I've had an Evolution for about 7 years, I wear it alot and never have had a problem

the chronomat 13 is the exacte same as the Evo. Breitling has renamed the watch 3 times in recent years. The chronomat evolution, then the chronomat and now the caliber 13. I would say that when current stocks are sold it Will be fully discontinued. I am a huge fan of Breitling and love my Evo. I would love the New b01 but Breitling prices have sky rocked and i cant justify what they now charge. Pity.

Really Nice Chronomat and Blackbird both SS in the sale in WOS Oxford ST. Chronomat had £1600 off, blackbird maybe a bit more.
Killer prices I reckon especially if you take 0% as well. |
