Do you have time to sight see? If you do, Chicago has a great aquarium. The Aquarium part is okay, but the Oceanarium, especially on a blustery winter day is SPECTACULAR! The Field Museum is supposed to be great too, but I haven't had a chance to go.

Joe's is a definite - but I'm partial to the stone crabs. It's a quick cab ride up Lakeshore Dr from the Med. Ctr. area.

Your hotel is located about 3 blocks north from the western end of Chicago's Little Italy on Taylor St. On Taylor St, Rosebud is a pretty good Italian restaurant, but bring a big appetite because their portions are large. For a more casual place, Pompei which is located across the street is also good.

Greek town is located about 1 mi east and north from your hotel. Greek Islands and Santorini are 2 nice restaurants there.

All the museums in Chicago are excellent. Shedd Aquarium, Field Musem, and Adler Planetarium are located close together at Museum Campus on the lakefront.

I'm guessing you're coming to Chicago for Sat's UNLV vs U of I basketball game at United Center. If you are, I'm sorry you're traveling all the way from Vegas to watch UNLV lose. GO Illini!!!

Last time I went to the museum of science and technology and the aquarium. Both were worthwhile and made excellent days. On a busy day I would get to the aquarium in the morning to avoid crowds and lines.
