Yeap I know they're two different animals with considerable price gap but would you think they look similar?

I see what you mean, Wandy
The Seiko sure does lean against the design of the Sub Date. But the design of the Sub Date has been an icon for MANY other watch companies. Simply because it's designed so well

It seems I'm the other way around with your path. I just purchased that one today to wear it during a rough day at a fraction of my Sub's price.

Couldn't agree more with that! I'm looking for the similar model for a rough day.

So the crystal can be scratched up like that?
Chris, I saw the push button on both sides of the lugs? Am I having a correct viewing? And that bracelet is brushed finish instead of polished centre links, right? I purchased online today so I haven't got it with me yet.

This is what I don't like when buying online.
Do you think it's worth it, Chris? Comfortable to wear and such? Thanks a lot for your plenty of info, bro.

The only similarity to me is that they both tell time. The Seiko is almost as busy as a Breitling.

Kinda-sorta, but I'd say this SKX031 bears more of a resemblance to the Sub:

Dunno - I had a mate who has one as a beater because he didn't want to go too rough on his SD, but he's had it for years.

That's more like it, yes. The one I posted is more like a combination of a Sub and Daytona due to its chronograph function.
