I'm not going to change the white face and romans on my DD but I would like to see the time when it's dark. I do like your choice. It is a hard decision.

Very nice , saddly I would have to sell my LV Sub, my SD, and Two of my DJ just to buy a BNIB used DD. I could not part with these four just to gain one.

I do love the Roman dail.

I found some very beautiful pics of another DD with silver dial.

Note: This model is NOT the 118238 but a 25-year-old DD 18038:




(Source: the German watch forum www.watchlounge.com)

Note also the satinated lugs on this one as compared to the polished lugs on the updated version of the DD (118238).

I am still biased as to what I like better! Polished lugs or satinated lugs?

I think the older DD are common with this face rather the white romans. Looking at mine, I like the polished lugs, it ties in with the sides and bezel which of course is polished.
