Shame on me

Well, I have seen every sick whiney adult in town this week, now I am sick. I can't call in, so I went in and saw my morning patients and moved the afternoon ones.

I went to Walgreens and stocked up on Riccollas and came home and made 4 different kinds of jello shots (For the family Christmas party) (yeah that may be wild)

Anyway, I am trying to rest, my brother's creditor calls me, my mom text's me and planned parenthood calls and wants money!!! The pool guy shows up and I can't even sit down.

Yeah, I am whining now! I want a damn nap and some drugs to help my sorethroat... Is it too much to ask Santa for a REAL day off?

PS, I did get a godiva gift basket and I ate half that thing today!!! Muahhhaaaahhaaaa

I don't answer the phone, which drives my mother crazy. The rest of the world I don't care what they think.

I eat cheese pizza with stuffed crust and extra cheese when I'm under the weather like that. Been far too much pizza going down in recent months, not even fitting into my favorite shirt now because of it =(

You're the medical professional but I recommend a shot of Jeremiah Weed. I drink a shot of it every night before going to bed and haven't had a flu or serious cold during that time and it tastes great.
Friends wife had a cold last week and I gave a shot to her and, by the time we got to restaurant, she felt much better.

I have every Wed off. I'm up at 0500 and out the door by 0700. I generally make it home about 1700. My hubby keeps barking at me that I also have the weekend to get things done (he's a well kept man). I keep telling him I work my ass off on Wed so I don't have to be out with everybody else on the weekend. Weekends are for feet up with some wine!

Love it! I need to start using that line. "My husband is a well kept man" Hehehe, he does make a good income, but in 18 years he still hasn't beaten me yet and I just got a raise.

I just hate using my time off to be sick and frustrated because I am on antibiotics and have already gave myself two whopping shots of steroids. I took some more oral steroids with some godiva a few minutes ago!!

Of yeah, the flavinoids will kill it...

Hope you will rest and delegate - or maybe stumble on down the forum threads to JJ's Bar to get a real potion to blow that stuff out!

I've always made more money than the hubby. He brags to his friends about it! He does nothing in the house (well, actually, the condo) and I prefer it that way! I'm pretty particular about how things occur in my house. I work hard outside of the house to afford to pay for an army of services to make my house as I want it. That includes one day a week to direct all, accept all, buy all, etc. my hubby works hard and comes home to a place that exceeds all his needs and wishes. Both of our blood pressures are better for this division!

All Australian men are hot, and the accents... well they're to die for.

Except for Tasmanians, South Australians, Victorians, and New South Welshmen. And those guys in WA that don't shower. Or the guys in NT with the BO. Queenslanders though, top notch, like a fine wine.

I think you hooked two of us already!!!

Now you need to prvide some pics! I have always had fantasies of living in the Outback. In fact I own sugar gliders, bearded dragons and a frilled dragon.

Hell with the outback, I lived 20 years in rural Kansas. I did my time! I'm a city girl and I live in a condo. I don't shovel snow, mow a lawn or clean windows......and that is as it should be!

You're welcome to the possums, damn things run all along the roof at night fighting with eachother and use the TV antenna as a gymnasium, we had to go cable TV because our antenna dead set looks like that piece of modern artwork Homer made while trying to assemble a BBQ on The Simpsons, just a twisted pile of metal.

You can have the dragons as well, fishing dragon poo out of the swimming pool is not fun, we've got probably upwards of 50 living in the yard, you come outside to the pool deck and they all hold perfectly still, like a row of gargoyles, and they don't scare off, they just sit there. And Poo.

I only had one jello shot, just to test them out....and I still haven't seen any pics, either from the Queensland brigade or the WA brigade who says their water shortages are not that bad.

If these guys from down under want a hard working, money making American woman then we need some pics!!!!!

Kaya, not to change the subject - Emergen-C (orange flavor) mixes with Mike's Hard Lemonade quite nicely.
