Mont Blanc Boheme Doue Rollerball...

I have decided that since I have fine watches, I deserve a fine writing instrument. The above mentioned pen caught my eye, it is model number 36006. Since I know very little about pens I thought I would ask what folks here think about this particular pen.

I appreciate any and all input.

A very elegant yet comfortable pen. The sapphire just adds up to the classiness of this pen. Go for it.

Mont-Blanc make some gorgeous writing instruments! I just got the Meisterstuck Classique, it's my first. Go to a Mont-Blanc dealer and write with them, and see which one suits your hand and that you like. Try most of the RollerBalls at the Dealer.

I went to the Mont Blanc store yesterday and wrote with several Meisterstruck pens. The one I liked the best was a ceramic rollerball however while I am very willing to spend several thousand dollars to satisfy my Rolex fixation, I am not going to spend 1k on a pen so I started looking online.

I found the Boheme Rollerball for $365 plus overnight shipping from a MB dealer in Houston. I should have it tomorrow. While I have not written with that model, they offer a 14 day return. The pics the dealer sent me and the ones on the MB website are gorgeous. In 24 hours I will start worrying about losing it :)

Please please it's Montblanc, not Mont Blanc (which is a place), nor Mont-Blanc.
This is actually one of the methods to spot a fake from a genuine article. A lot of fake Montblanc manuals prints the name wrongly...

I'm not trying to be argumentative but I think that you're wrong. In fact I am looking at the card of the salesperson from the MB store and they clearly spell it Mont Blanc.

On the other hand, who cares?

The logo can be splitted, which is a recent thing (1960-70s onwards).
However, if you read the manuals, it's always spelt "Montblanc".

I've got over 100 Montblanc pens and never have I seen a genuine Montblanc pen spelt anything other than "Montblanc".

Mark, I have and often use a Boheme Paso Doble rollerball and it writes like a dream( same pen, different paint scheme...). I also buy from MB Houston and for the most part they are a pleasure to deal with, and they'll do their best to make sure you're satisfied. Use it in good health, RS

I did get the pen today and it is perfect, pics will be coming tomorrow. I only hope this doesn't escalate like my Rolex addiction did.

As promised, here are some pics...

The pic with the pen with my watches was taken while the items were placed into what may be the coolest Christmas present I have ever received. The leather "Bowl" was made using the very same leather that is used to manufacture NFL footballs, not too sure if you can see the pebbling in the picture but it is there. There is a guy in Milwaukee who hand crafts custom purses, briefcases, covers for tablets, belts..etc. He makes these leather bowls that are used to basically empty your pockets into, one of the options is the NFL football leather from the Horween leather company of Chicago. Sorry to drone on about that but I think it is pretty interesting..

In any event, I love my pen and as I noted previously I am afraid it may lead to more pens and things like wearing french cuffed shirts so I can wear cuff links which would be odd since I do not wear suits to work (but I do wear very nice dress shirts).
