Never had so much fun!!!!!!!!

Finally got around to sizing my SubC, took me well over a month (I know I must be nuts). Anyway I have never peeled off so much protective plastic from a watch, I really enjoyed it!

The first few pictures demonstrate the dried up Loctite that came off the screws and from the screw holes. Look at the black mat and you'll see what looks like dandruff! I realize that Loctite is controversial on many forums but if Rolex uses it when they assemble the watch then it's good enough for me after sizing. I used a little of the 221 variant!!!

All is well and it resides on the winder for now, it will take it's first wrist journey tomorrow. BTW, and as many here have already stated, the seadweller toolkit screwdriver is the perfect accessory for the link screws!!

When this watch first debuted I wasn't sure I liked it. The size of the clasp and the width of the lugs kept me away. Then I handled one at an AD and thought that neither complaint was warranted, imo. So I took the
plunge and I must say the watch really is perfect on the wrist, my wrist anyway!

For anyone who cares I have a 7 inch wrist and removed 3 links (2 from 12 size and 1 from 6 side). Glidelock has room to go either way if needed. Brilliant design!

Happy New Year to everyone!

Jim

PS Don't expect good pictures!!!!!

It's amazing how many stickers they really put on these watches. Glad they do, but they can be real hard to locate at times.

+1 on finding all the stickers - a certain someone just posted a picture of a year-old sticky that hid for that long

Someone should lay out all the plastic, like a jigsaw puzzle,so that you can see how much of it there really is.

You waited a month to size a new watch? You must have the patience of a saint.

Did you get the ones around the crown guards? I just found one myself on my GMT after a month. I giggled like a little girl.
