Ran across 2008 used w/box & papers through my local jeweler. It's mint or close enough, comes with deployant. What's a great price? Any help appreciated.

I like this brand and have had a chance to try one of these travel tec's up close at a Watch Time event. Very nice, with a push-button rotating inner GMT bezel, as I recall. I also recall retail on the watch being around 14k.

That being said, I think (not 100% on this) that they modify, rather than make, many of their movements. I base this on their clever wording when you read up on their adverts and on the fact that when they do make a movement -- like the A1000 -- they highlight it. The travel tec's movement, for instant, looks to be a typical valjoux gmt setup.
